Welcome to St. Andrews. I would like to introduce you to our Sunday morning Small Groups. Our mission at St. Andrew’s is “To make Disciples of Jesus Christ.” Disciple making is very Important to us. We fully believe that being in a small group is imperative for you to grow into a mature disciple. Don’t think that a Sunday morning group is only about study, it is also about fellowship. Being a part of an ongoing group of people who care for, pray for, and encourage you is worth more than gold or silver. No matter how independent we are, each of us needs the support of others because that is how God created us. Together, people find the miracles of God through the workings and understandings of the people around us. There is good reason to join us in “Making Disciples.”
If you are participating in Sunday Worship services only and are not part of a Sunday morning group, then I encourage you to consider attending one of the groups meeting at 9:30 or 10:50 a.m. Our groups know to expect first-time visitors and they will welcome you with open arms.

DISCOVERY – Ministry Training Center Room B1 -
Mark Day leads this class which is a diverse cross section of friends: politically moderate, mostly middle aged adults, many with adolescent and young-adult children. Often coordinating with the Pastor’s sermon, lessons center on interpretation and application of the messages of the Bible as they relate to today’s society. There is usually lively discussion laced with humor where all viewpoints are encouraged. Members of this class also enjoy a variety of social activities outside of class. EAGLES – Ministry Training Center, Room B6 –Our class name comes from
Isaiah 40:31...but those who hope in the Lord will
renew their strength. They will soar on wings like
eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they
will walk and not be faint. We are a familyfocused
group of 30-, 40-, 50-somethings
(couples, singles and parents) who put our hope in
the Lord. We meet at 9:30am for “breakfast chat”
followed by our Sunday school study and ending
with prayer. We always welcome newcomers to
the class and offer opportunities throughout the
year for community mission projects and social
gatherings. So whether you are new to faith, new
to St. Andrew’s, or simply looking for a new Sunday
school, you can find a place with the Eagles. Hope to see you there! For pictures click HERE |

Stronghold, A New SS Class - Ministry Training Center, Room B1: Attention to all young adults who are looking for a place to fit in! A new Sunday school class is being created just for you! The class name is "Stronghold" (a second generation of "Discovery") and is taken from Psalm 18:1-2 as well as from the "strong hold" we have on Christ, faith, and each other. We are seeking out people who want to be involved in a class that experiences lessons with in depth group discussion, personal sharing, application of Scripture, and laughter laced throughout. Together, we want to build a close family of friendship where we can trust and learn from one another as we grow together in our spirituality. This class will also participate in ministry and community outreach opportunities throughout the year. But before any of it can begin, we first need to gather together! Please call Monica McAfee at 759-2659 ASAP to let us know you will be joining us, ask any questions, and get directions. We can't wait to see you there! |
