Welcome to Know, Grow, and Go!
At St. Andrew's we are all on a journey to Know Christ, to Grow in Christ and to Go in Christ. These steps don't necessarily happen in a linear fashion and it is possible for all 3 steps to happen simultaneously. Join us on the journey as we explore what it means for us to Know, Grow and Go.
Jesus told her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying." John 11:15 NLT
A personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior involves a daily commitment to spend time in the Lord's presence through prayer, reading the Bible and silence. During the silent times the Holy Spirit is able to guide and strengthen us for the journey. Not only do we want this relationship for ourselves but we also want to share with others how they can also Know Christ. Church membership is a great way to be a part of a community that is traveling the journey together to Know Christ and be connected. Find out more about membership by registering for Coffee with the Pastor.
Grow in Christ
Put on all of God's armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. Ephesians 6:11 NLT
During your time at Coffee with the Pastor you will be presented with the opportunity to choose one or more ministry areas that interests you. Serving in ministry at St. Andrew's helps you connect with other members in a personal way that isn't afforded during our Sunday services. We encourage everyone to be involved in one or more ministry area as there is a "job" for everyone to use their talents. We also encourage you to become a part of a small group on Sunday mornings. Additional small group opportunities are provided throughout the year. Request more information about our Ministries.
Go in Christ
"And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'" Acts. 20:35 NLT
Throughout the year, St. Andrew's offers opportunities to take part in going outside of the church walls and into the community from across the street to our neighbors to around the world. Becoming involved in missions and being in mission to the world is what Jesus charged us to do as his disciples. While on the journey to becoming fully-committed disciples of Jesus Christ we are presented with mission opportunities during our daily life and through intentional efforts organized through St. Andrews.
