Upward Minister Sign-Up: It’s time to start thinking about Upward and how you’d like to help this year. We are organizing our ministry teams and have a board in the Fellowship Area where you can sign up NOW! Ministry areas include coaches, referees, devotion leaders, prayer teams, concession workers and more! Please pray about where you can be a part of this very important ministry.

Nursery Workers Needed: We are currently looking for anyone 16 years old and above to work in our Nursery care ministry. This would involve 1-3 nights per week as needed. If you are interested, please contact Karla Bowen at 692-4242, ext. 110.

Email Updates: The church secretary, Sam Culver, is updating our email list. If you have changed your email address recently, please let Sam know so she can keep the church records up to date. You may contact her at 692-4242, or send an email to sculver@saokc.org.

Teacher Database: We are creating a database of teachers (public, private, preschool, Sunday school, etc.) that attend St. Andrew’s for a teacher appreciation event. Please provide the name of the teacher and the school they teach at. The information can be called in to Laura Aldridge at 692-4242, ext. 106 or sent via email to laldridge@saokc.org. We appreciate your help because on Thursday, October 28th St. Andrew's UMC will host a Teacher Appreciation Event with dinner and workshop with guest speaker Allan Johnson. So SAVE the date for 10/28 from 5:30pm to 8:00 pm.

Operation Christmas Child: Shoebox time will be here before we know it and now is the perfect time to start stocking up on school supplies for those shoeboxes. Take advantage of the back-to-school specials on pencils, crayons, pens and other things. And, while buying for your students, buy extras for your shoebox.
