Coffee with the Pastor: Have you been wanting to find out more about our church? Have you been thinking about joining St. Andrew’s? On Sunday, March 28, from 4:00pm-5:00pm, you are invited to our monthly “Coffee with the Pastor”. During this informal time, you’ll hear the story of St. Andrew’s, our mission, method and vision, and we’ll lift up our five membership expectations. After a question and answer time, inquirers are free to go. Persons interested in membership are invited to remain for a time of commitment and prayer. Membership at St. Andrew’s is a great way to “get connected”! Sign Up!

Healthy individuals who are at least 17 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds are encouraged to donate. All blood donors are now required to present a photo ID to be eligible to donate. Thank you for your cooperation and thank you for being a blood donor.

Easter Lilies: By purchasing a lily at $10/each this Easter season, you have an opportunity to help decorate the Worship Center, honor or remember loved ones, and decorate your own home. How? Place your completed order form with your check to St. Andrew’s (write “Easter Lilies” in the memo field) in the offering plate. Make sure that the names of the people that you are honoring are written clearly. You may take your lily home following the Easter service of your choice! Thank you! Sign Up!

Easter is Almost Here: And so is our annual egg hunt for the children! When we decorate our lawns in the front of the church with all those bright and colorful eggs on Saturday, April 3 at 4:30pm we draw children in from our community and have the opportunity to share Christ with new families! Everyone at St. Andrew’s can make this Easter celebration and ministry opportunity a huge success. We simply NEED EGGS and TREATS to stuff them with!!! Would you please be a part of this with us by dropping off any egg and candy donations inside the labeled tubs that are located in the Fellowship Area? Call Monica McAfee at 821-8328 with any questions. It will be such a blessing to have more eggs than we have ever had before! Thank you so much for your help.

ShareFest: ShareFest is an annual event created to highlight and celebrate the ways our faith community touches the needs of our city. It is an opportunity for the Church to inspire real hope and offer real help. On Saturday, April 17, St. Andrew’s will select a project (or two) that will be of significance to the community - one act of kindness that blesses families, neighborhoods, or schools. We have several projects we are looking at and hope you will want to be a part of this city-wide event! Go to www.SharefestOKC.com for more information.

Maundy Thursday: On Thursday, April 1, we will celebrate Maundy Thursday with a dinner at 6:00pm and a worship service at 7:00pm. We are privileged to have Rachelle Trank from JEWS FOR JESUS as she comes to minister to us as we celebrate Christ in the Passover. She will share the meaning behind the Passover meal. We will share in song and communion in this service. If you can help by providing a crock of soup, email Ginny at gpass@saokc.org. Also, we invite everyone to bring a dessert to share. Invite a friend to be a part of this exciting worship opportunity!

Good Friday: On Friday, April 2, we will hold a Tenebrae Service at 6:30pm. “Tenebrae” in Latin, means “shadows.” The purpose of a Tenebrae service is to reflect deeply on the suffering and death of Christ for the purpose of our redemption. It is a service of darkness. As we experience the various aspects of the Passion story, 15 candles are gradually extinguished until we leave in darkness. The drama team will portray “The Crucifixion” scene from The Choice.

Easter Celebration Services: Bring your family and friends to “Experience Easter” here at St. Andrew’s because we feel that what happened 2000 years ago still makes a difference today! Our Easter Celebration Services will be held on Saturday, April 3, at 5:00pm and Sunday, April 4 at 8:00am, 9:30am, and 11:00am. Nursery for children ages 3 & under will be provided. No Sunday school.
