Exodus House is one of the many ministries under the Criminal Justice and Mercy Ministries of the Oklahoma Conference of the United Methodist Church. There is an Exodus House in Oklahoma City located at 433 N. 25th Street, as well as one in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Exodus House is a six-month temporary residential project established for the purpose of equipping released ex-offenders and their families to become productive, self-supporting, cohesive family units. The St. Andrews Women's Ministries has “adopted” one of the apartments. We clean and fully furnish it each time a new family moves in. Wish List: Household items and supplies in good condition for residents starting anew. This
can include furniture, all kitchen equipment, bedding, curtains, lamps, clocks,
towels, cleaning supplies, food, and anything else someone would need in a new
home.
For more information about volunteer opportunities and donation needs, please visit their webpage at Exodus House or contact David Johnson at 692-4242 ext. #105 or Lesa Stiger at 405-202-5220.
