Christmas Outreach: A big thanks to all of you who made
Christmas a little brighter for the children
at Skyline, the homeless at Grace Fellowship,
the youth at the Detention Center, the
children served by Santa’s Cause, the Children
at Child S.H.A.R.E., the children receiving
shoe boxes at Samaritan’s Purse,
and those served by numerous individual
projects. What a blessing you were to those
in need! |
Each year at Christmas time, St. Andrew's participates in various missions to provide Christmas for needy individuals and families. St. Andrew's has been involved with Skyline Ministries, Grace Fellowship, Santa's Cause, ChildSHARE and Samaritan's Purse. Grace Fellowship is a Christian organization that along with other outreach efforts, provides a meal to the homeless every Sunday afternoon, at Willy Post Park (just South of the River on Robinson). At Christmas time all of the volunteer organizations share in the Christmas meal, and provide Christmas gifts for the homeless from a shopping list provided by the homeless person..
Christmas is always an exceptionally busy time of the year when it is easy to say "I'm too busy" to shop for another person. Yet, the members of St. Andrew's always seem to find time to help out one more person or family. Thank you St. Andrew's family for your generosity. Keep our Christmas Missions in mind as you shop throughout the year and take advantage of those special sales savings.
