Do you have a testimony about "Answered Prayers" that you would like to share? Please submit your story to: lstiger@saokc.org.

God hears your prayers and, YES, He answers those prayers! Phillipians 4:5-7 tells us: "Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." James 5:14-16 encourages us: "Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."

Race 4 Faith Hospital Ministry Impacts Lives: By the way I thought you would like an up date on our ministry when we went to the children's hospital this last Saturday, 12/8/07. Hearts were touched (mostly mine) and God was present.

First we met this guy that was just sitting where we were going to set up the track and man did he look sad.Kaci was setting next to him and was afraid to say anything but he finally wanted to know what we were doing. Kaci told him about our ministry and about the race's and he lit up and wanted to help. (God works in mysterious ways). Later he told Kaci that his wife had just had their first child and it weight only 1 pound and they didn't have much hope. We told him we would pray for them and maybe God would work one of his miracles. Any way he had a good time helping us and it relieved his stress for a while.

Then we met this family mom, dad, little brother and grandma along with this precious two year old girl that had a STROKE 13 days ago. The mom ways so happy we were there because it was the first time they had been out of the room in the 13 days. As we got started the little girl sat up smiled and watched the cars go around for a few seconds. The mom said that was the first time she had moved in 13 days she was so happy and had a smile I can't describe (if your a mom you know what it looks like). Anyway we met many other families that had children in the hospital and they all had fun. The best part was Belinda from the hospital wants us to come back more often it was a huge success.

Thank you for your support and let me know if you would like to be part of our next trip to the hospital. Also if you could take just a moment out of this very busy time and say a prayer for all the children in the hospital and a word for their parents because Christmas for them will be much different than ours. Also take one more moment to thank God for all the blessing's he give us all and how grateful we are that he is in our life's. Thank you for your time, Lonnie Jonte.
