A Word from Jeremy Graham for June 2008: The schedule is full and it is jammed with activities for students to partake in this summer. Fortunately, these activities are not mindless and brain-numbing. Some are service oriented, some are devoted to spiritual guidance and some are for food; however, all of them include an element of fun. Summers are great for building a core community of students and for establishing solid relationships. The summer camps and the mission week provide opportunities for the staff to introduce themselves and befriend students while also functioning to add spiritual depth to the lives of students. Even though most students will be busy with other events this summer, there are plenty of chances for them to participate with something having to do with student ministries. We look forward to building new relationships and continuing ones we have already started. If you want to get your student involved or have questions regarding student ministries, feel free to contact the staff.

As we move forward, we are excited about those still with us and the students that are moving in this June. This year there will be nearly thirty 6th graders graduating into student ministries and we are excited about having them participate. If you are one of those incoming 6th graders, be aware of this information:

**You can join us the first Wed. night in June for Impact beginning at 6pm and ending at 8pm.
**Disciple summer camp is June 5-9, but you need to register by May 4.

It is exciting to be a part of St. Andy’s Student Ministries as we are moving forward with solid upper classmen leadership to help mentor the younger students. If we can be of service to you or your family, please feel free to contact us.

Invite a friend...

Disciple Camp: All students currently in 6th-7th grade are encouraged to sign up for Disciple Camp on June 5-9 at Heart O’Hills Camp in Welling, OK. Total cost is $75. Registration forms are located in the Fellowship Area and the Youth Office. Completed forms and $75 are due by Sunday, May 4. Contact Jeremy Graham at 692-4242, ext. 103 with questions. Impact: Weekly worship experience that happens from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Wednesdays, June 4, 11, 18 & 25.

Lunch Jeremy: We will meet for lunch (12:30pm) at local restaurants on Tuesdays throughout the summer. If you need a ride, feel free to call the church office.

Disciple Summer Camp: Those who are registered for Disciple Summer Camp will be leaving the church parking lot on Thursday, June 5, at noon for Tahlequah. We will be returning to the church on Monday, June 9, at approximately 3:00pm. On Sunday, June 1, there will be a brief meeting for Disciple Camp after the 10:50am worship service located in the student ministry worship area.

Dayspring Summer Camp: The week of July 21-25 is Dayspring Summer Camp and it is for current 8th-12th graders. The cost is $75 per person and there is information in the student ministry worship area. Please register by June 22. If you bring a friend, the cost is only $50!

JH Mission Week: Monday-Wednesday, June 23-25, the junior high students (fall 7th-8th graders) will be participating in local mission projects from 9:00am-12:00pm. Projects include Feed the Children and Infant Crisis Pregnancy Center.

HS Mission Week: Monday-Friday, June 23-27, the high school students (fall 9th-12th graders) will be working in a local mission project with Habitat for Humanity from 9:00am-3:00pm everyday.
