Sunday School
Everyone is back to their “normal” classrooms. We are starting the curriculum Live B.I.G. Big stands for Believing In God. We are getting children excited about Sunday school and we’re going to “Live B.I.G.” We’re going to sing, shout, laugh, act, dance, create, run, jump, fly and think, read, speak and relate to a belief in God too. This interactive curriculum has colorful characters, cool music and travel segments designed to use the three ways children learn — hearing, seeing and then living what they learn, “Believing In God.” Come by and sit in on a class and you’ll see how much fun it is to walk away knowing our Savior and His stories.

Toddler Time
Toddler Time is our ministry for children ages birth-Kindergarten along with parents, grandparents, and/or caregivers. Contact Susan Robinson at 692-4242, ext. 104, for more information. September 13 is picnic in the park. Pack a sack lunch and maybe a blanket and we’ll meet at South Lakes Park in the pavilion for fellowship and fun! September 20 at 10:30 we are going to see Disney On Ice! Come by Susan’s office to pick up your tickets now.

Discovery 1 & 2 will meet quarterly on Friday evenings. Contact Lisa Nelson for more information.

Explore 3 & 4 is looking for the best time to meet. If you are in 3rd or 4th grade contact Robin Wohletz to chime in on what works best for you!

Club 56 has great things planned for Fall. They are going to meet bi-monthly. Contact Carol Valentine for more information.

FALL FESTIVAL is approaching!!!
This is a HUGE community event for St. Andrew’s and we need EVERYONE involved. This year each adult Sunday School will be using their room as a “trick-or-treat” type location. Decorate your door and your room to the max so that kids will want to come knocking before heading to the festivities elsewhere. We are going to need decorators, carpenters, food makers, ticket sellers, security, builders, candy givers, booth man-ers, money takers, hand holders, jail keepers, pumpkin buyers, painters, bakers, wrappers, balloon blowers, people to set up, people to clean up, people willing to get wet, dirty, sticky and other for our kids and those who have yet to be “ours.” Please contact Susan Robinson to let her know how you want to help out and how she can put you to use. (She gets to make sure to meet everyone in the church this way because EVERYONE should be involved before, during or after the event)

Kids Corner
A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. (Proverbs 18:20-21)

This says watch what you say because the more you say something the more it becomes true. Kind of like the way some people start believing a lie once they’ve said it a whole bunch. So if you are always positive and say nice things – nice things happen to you. And if you are negative and say mean things, you aren’t very happy yourself because your tongue brings what it speaks. - Susan Robinson
